Yes, you read that right. Recently, we had a one-on-one interview with Subuhi Joshi, aka Subuhi Joshi Essjay. Subuhi is an actor and celebrity DJ with a massive following of 8 million on Facebook and 585k on Instagram.
Born on 29th October 1992, she started her career with Doordarshan and has now reached newer heights. When asked about the best highlight in her career, she straightway pointed at her Splitsvilla journey. Splitsvilla is an Indian television show hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singha. Subuhi made an entry in Splitsvilla not once but twice, i.e. Season 6 and followed by Season 8.

How did you begin your career in this industry?
“I did a show for Doordarshan when I was very young, and then my mother wanted me to complete my education. After that, I was called for an audition for Splitsvilla. It all started from there.”
What was the most challenging phase in your career?
“Right now, it’s the pandemic.”
