Within the Xverse ecosystem, avatars play a crucial role and represent your virtual self.
Your Xverse avatar is your digital identity within the ecosystem.
As a result, all future Xverse services and apps will require an avatar to participate in.
This includes our upcoming P2E (Play to Earn) Decentralized boardgame:
While playing MyGround, players will be able to obtain avatars, create in-game buildings, and $XVC during the game.
Depending on the game mode, users will be able to join matches with their in-game currency balance. Each users’ avatar will move around the MyGround map in real-time.
Up to 4 players will partake in each match, and players will be able to construct buildings on the map. Real estate fundamentals will be incorporated into the game, and players’ individual decisions will affect the overall outcome of the game.
MyGround is NOT the only game in the works.
Other minigames are in the works as well and will be announced when ready. Without giving away too much, Xverse avatars will be usable not just in the Xverse ecosystem, but across other ecosystems in the future.
In order to play users will be required to have an NFT avatar.
Currently Genesis NFTs are the only NFT avatars available, and as a result, as of now, Genesis NFT holders will be the only ones able to partake.
As mentioned, in the future, when we release more collections, leading to more avatars , we hope to see the barrier of entry lower.
With that said, Genesis NFT holders are our early supporters, and we believe the best way to reward our Genesis NFT holders is by providing them early access to our future services, and be the first to Play to Earn.
