So far, we’ve released the tools you’ll need to create Sentinels and Bridges — the Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices that form the backbone of the XYO Network. The historical location data from these devices and their Bound Witness interactions is used by Diviners to answer queries to the network. How does this data make it from the Bridges to the Diviners? It’s stored by Archivists, the XYO Network Nodes that act as a library for historical location data. Today, we’re releasing the Archivist SDK.

The Archivist Node.js SDK will allow you to build and run your own Archivist node, taking Bound Witness data from Bridges, storing it, and feeding it out to Diviners when it’s needed. You can run this on your hardware or on a platform like AWS. The SDK is still in development, but you get the current version on our Github!

Here’s XYO Blockchain Developer Carter Harrison giving you more details and a quick walkthrough.
