The first South by Southwest was supposed to be a relatively small music festival celebrating bands, musicians and artists in Austin and surrounding areas. But when festival organizers saw the crowd surge from an anticipated 150 to a ridiculous 700, they knew they had an (international) hit on their hands.

That was 1987.

This year you’ll find corporate CEOs, presidential candidates, futurists, technologists, and plenty of fascinating talks on cryptography, blockchain, decentralizing social media, and even what future jobs will look like.

And guess what else you’ll find?

Us!

On March 15th, we’re holding a Fireside Chat in Austin featuring XYO’s resident genius, CEO and Founder Arie Trouw, Marcus East, CTO of National Geographic, and Jay Smith, CMO of Factom.

The topic? The blockchain tech that’s ready for the real world!

After a long day of panels, live music, and way too much fog machine, join us from 6–9 pm at MAX’s Wine Dive for this fascinating, intimate talk inside a brick-walled and wood-adorned space known for sophisticated food, casual ambiance, and of course, wines to die for.
