New: Use BridgeX with COIN’s Home Base

If you’re a fan of XYO’s partner app, COIN, you’ll be happy to know the geniuses of XY Labs have introduced an awesome new bonus. Their hit feature, Home Base, now includes support for BridgeX.

Yeah, that BridgeX. The one from your Geomining Kit. The one you can even make yourself if you want.

The best part is, it’s almost zero effort. You don’t have to go through the full BridgeX setup. No monitor, no internet connection, no password. All you have to do is…

Step 1: Insert the SD card with the BridgeX image, or make sure it’s inserted correctly if you’ve used your BridgeX before. (If you’re using an official XYO BridgeX, it’s the one that came with your Geomining Kit.)

Step 2: Plug it in and let it power up. BridgeX comes with a standard 5v micro USB power cable. You know how to use one of these, you had an MP3 player or an old school Android phone.

Step 3: Give your BridgeX a few minutes to boot up and start broadcasting a signal for COIN to detect.

Step 4: That’s it. Use it. Make sure you have your phone’s Bluetooth turned on and you’ll find it in your Home Base screen.

As long as your BridgeX is detected, it’ll boost your Home Base rewards. It works a lot like SentinelX BLE, with a similar range. You have to have Bluetooth enabled on your phone, and you have to be near the BridgeX.

Make sure you have the latest version of COIN for iOS or Android in order to get these boosted Home Base rewards.
