On the eve of the biggest holiday of the year, XYO is bringing you a merry end-of-the-year present: Two new partnerships!

That’s right. Not just one, but two!

The first is FoodNation.io. This is our first food delivery service partnership — with the twist. They’re also a blockchain company!

Food Nation relies heavily on their community of users to find food options for other people nearby. By harnessing blockchain to connect hungry customers with loads of eatery options, sellers and promoters both share in the benefits. Everybody wins!

Check out FoodNation.io for more details — and to read the whitepaper!

Our other partnership is about security.

KYC-Chain is a white label service and solution designed to help organizations with the ultra-important concept of Know Your Customer (KYC).

KYC is a critical part of banking and financial transactions. By knowing and verifying customer info through a KYC process, institutions can prevent fraud, money laundering, and even hacking.

So, what’s KYC? When you are asked to provide basic identity info to a website or app, like a driver’s license or passport number, that’s just one example of KYC. Your personal security questions — “what is the name of your first grade teacher?” — for example, are also KYC.

When your identity is surreptitiously checked against a list of known money launderers and criminals? Yup! Also KYC.

KYC-Chain uses a B2B managed workflow to help businesses better manage the identity and information about customers, so businesses can stay compliant with financial regulatory requirements.

The idea is that KYC should be seamless for customers, but also provide the key knowledge for businesses so both parties can safely move forward with a financial transaction. It’s all about trust.

We’re thrilled to use our blockchain location technology to bolster both these businesses. Well have more details in the future about these two exciting new partnerships, but for now we wish you happy, healthy holidays!
