XYO and Chainlink Collaborate to Seamlessly Improve Interconnectivity Between Data Sets and Distinct Blockchains
Today we’re proud to announce that we are collaborating with Chainlink, a decentralized oracle network that enables smart contracts to securely access off-chain data feeds, web APIs, and traditional bank payments. We will combine the Internet of Things (IoT)-based data capabilities of XY Oracle, “XYO,” with Chainlink’s reliable and secure end-to-end connections between external data sources and smart contracts, across multiple blockchains.
By working together, XYO and Chainlink provide smart contracts secure access to highly valuable IoT data, which can be used to create a multitude of new smart contracts in industries including Insurance and Financial Services.
“Chainlink is excited to be working closely with the XYO team,” commented Sergey Nazarov, CEO of Chainlink. “ We feel this collaboration will benefit all parties, and certainly those who would want to combine high-quality IoT data from the XYO network, with a highly-secure and reliable oracle like Chainlink, for their smart contract development teams or across large enterprises.”
“This partnership with Chainlink provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the value of providing seamless data and chain-to-chain integration,” said Arie Trouw, Co-Founder and CEO of XYO. “We’re glad to add our expertise and the increasingly complex data sets to the world-class solution the Chainlink team has created. We look forward to further expanding our work together over time.”
