XYO World: New Features & Major Updates
Wow, what a ride! It feels like XYO World was only just unveiled, but we’re fast approaching two months since it its release. In that time, we’ve steadily released numerous new features. Let’s have a look.
New Feature: Browse Geotokens by World Map
Probably the most requested feature — and the one we’ve been most eager to bring you — is a better way to browse XYO World. When we launched, there were only a few geotokens, and a list was fine, but now that XYO World has grown, a better way to find what you’re looking for was needed. Now, you can drill down and find the geotokens you really want — quickly, easily, and visually. Just visit world.xyo.network/map!
New Feature: Secondary Marketplace Ready
Want to buy, sell, or trade your XYO World geotokens? They’re an ERC-721 NFT (non-fungible token), so you can choose to do so on an ERC-721 marketplace. And XYO World geotokens now come with meta data, meaning that your secondary market listings come with the important information about your geotokens, such as map data and price history. Now it’s easy to trade geotokens!

When you buy a geotoken, you want to know exactly where you’re staking. This new feature allows bidders to see where the quadtile represented by their geotoken falls on a world map, and see what’s inside of it.
My Holdings (Personal Dashboard)
XYO World users can now view their own holdings from a personal dashboard. From world.xyo.network/entity, users can also see their bids, their geotokens pending minting, see their balance and allowance, and see what geotokens they currently own.
Auction Selection
Auctions have also been divided from world.xyo.network/list, where you can see how many auctions are in each category and navigate easily to the ones you’re interested in.

People who were interested in XYO World and wanted to check it out, but who don’t have a Web3 wallet set up, can now see what’s going on in XYO World without logging in using an Ethereum wallet. See the rules, auctions, and more with nothing but an ordinary web browser.
