Balance

Alone, I roamed the worlds
Darkness consumed it all.
A freezing wasteland
Is all I could nurture.
My icy fingers pointed
To corners obscure.
There I felt, against my skin,
Alien sensations overcome.
Beholding your glowing form
In a world of flames;
My night flecked with stars.
First touch otherworldly.
It’s so easy being together
Perfect balance achieved:
Ice for fire, night for day.
Worlds rejoice the union.
