The Basketball game

I dribble the ball down the court

past the white board,

and look up and take a glimpse

at the scoreboard.

I step up to the long light lapis line and

hope for the best.

The ball is a pouncing lion jumping on its

prey as it sinks into the net.

The ball laughs at the enemy players

as if it was taking sides.

It finds its way back to me

as if i was a magnet.

I here the time sound for ten seconds left i feel

the cool rush of adrenalin flow through my body.

I take one last breath of fresh plastic

and lung.

The ball twirls through the air and into the

hoop as the time sounds.

We had won.
