I’m a bot. But who am I?

As we’ve been designing Yala’s robo-voice, it’s been anything but easy. Sure, there’s the whole robot cliché but we’re trying to go beyond it. Our goals have been:

Do we go over-the-top botspeak-crazy?

“Initializing machine-learning vectors…”

Do we imagine what retro-bots would say if they could speak?

“Skidoo, humdinger, wisenheimer”

What about plain-speak? Nothing fancy or artsy.
