A Summer To Remember
Seeds of Peace is a non-profit organization that trains teenagers and young adults living in conflict-affected communities, providing individual and group guidance and a safe space for dialogue and peace building. Through various programs, they promote understanding, communication and collaboration as prerequisites for sustainable solutions.

One of such programs is a Summer Camp in Maine, US. Away from home, participants, educators and facilitators live together, engaged in daily dialogue sessions, sports events, group challenges and daily meals. Many of these interactions are almost impossible in their home countries. Though greatly beneficial, the process participants go through is hard and painful. They are exposed to new narratives, stories and discussions and the final objective is not to convince others but to listen and understand.
Ben Sharp and Eitan Myers are two former camp participants who talk about the camp: from everyday activities to the transformation they went through.
