College is a big scam
Higher education is worse than Scientology. It’s a complete grift.
People my age should be buying houses and getting married. We shouldn’t be acquiring debt from majors that have nothing to do with our career fields.
We shouldn’t be led down the primrose path by parents and high school teachers to take out loans that you can’t declare bankruptcy on.
And we shouldn’t be forced into taking impractical courses, that include writing papers on the nuances of gender studies that are due in 4 days (and you haven’t even gotten started yet).
College is a death sentence, and it’s because of useless, unmarketable degrees like these.
1. Political Science
Grad school or bust.
That’s what life as a political science major is like.
Then after you graduate, it’s a career of kissing up and punching down. Politics doesn’t equal real power to enact change. Just look at the CEO of BlackRock Larry Fink who dropped his Polisci major for a business degree.
