The Wall Street Journal delivers solid finance coverage most days, but its roots still show. It caters to a diehard crowd of atavistic Nixon-era neocon loyalists. That’s who they appeal to with their article, “Why RFK Jr. Is Dangerous to Public Health.”

- Right now: 74% of Americans are overweight or obese
- In Japan childhood obesity is 3% compared to 20% here
- Childhood diabetes was non-existent in 1970, but today one in five adolescents and one in four young adults are living with prediabetes.
- One in five women is on anti-depressant medication. This is higher than the rate for women in their 40s and 50s, and even higher for those in their 10s and 20s.
