The issue of Almajiranci in North, is really getting out of hand. Our leaders should do something about it. Today, I saw two boys not older than 7yrs each, on the street begging for food to eat. I almost burst out of tears, this is inhumane & this is not religion.
The first thing that comes my mind, are these disturbing questions; what kind of inhumanity is this? how can 7 yrs old be roaming the streets begging for food to eat? Has poverty reach to this stage? The questions I have are too many & surely, their answers are very scarce. The boys I saw are not even age mates of my younger brother (our last born), he is older than them. I can’t think of him in this situation, we cannot let him roam the streets begging for food, all in the name of acquiring knowledge. If we do so, what do we stand for? Where is our moral principle? where is our humanity? The knowledge they are send to acquire can be easily acquired at home, in a better environment with better quality & peace of mind.
Pls lets do something about this, it is really disturbing. This is not humanity, this is not religion, this is a culture that needs to be rejected. It is inhumanity of all inhumanities, it is barbarism of all barbarisms. This is manipulation of religion in disguise, it has outlived it usage & it usage, has no essence since its beginning.
