How To Submit To Yasss Witch!
Welcome to Yasss Witch!, a publication for all of the esoteric queens out there looking to share their stories! We want to get up close and personal and share real introspective stories about your personal successes, struggles, and failures with witchcraft, spirituality, and soulmates.
We Need Writers!
For topics such as: daily life as a witch in modern society, personal stories — trials and errors in spellwork — what not to do based on experience, triumphs and struggles with soulmates & twin flames, dating as a witch, coming out of the broom closet, mental health, spiritual transformation, tarot & divination outcomes, kitchen/herbal magic & recipes, your personal connections with Gods & Goddesses, and witchy ways you’ve been handling quarantine.
We’re looking for compelling stories about your personal journeys that readers can relate to as well as practical guides to help others learn from your experiences. Stories should have clear messages with endings that will provide a takeaway that serves to inspire readers.
We’re also looking for a column writers specifically for:
Herbal magic and recipes — Cakes, cookies, and brews that have helped you manifest your goals and live your best life.
Advice for beginner witches — You remember when you were frantically searching for resources that seemed impossible to find when you first started your craft? Well, now that you’ve become a wise one, you’ll be here to help with witchy advice based on your personal experiences all in one place!

Please do not submit listicles and do not include calls to action in your articles!
Formatting
Please make sure to format your articles correctly and use eye-catching titles, subtitles, and [royalty free] images.
When in doubt, read other stories! Get acquainted with the structure of other Medium writers and see what resonates with you.
Please make sure to check your spelling and grammar before submitting your story!
Revenue
Please note: Stories will be placed behind the Paywall and revenue will be based on Medium membership readers only at this time. Make sure that you’re eligible for the Medium Partner program and, when you publish your article, check the box that says: “Make my story eligible to earn money…”
To Submit a Story
In order for us to add you as a writer, we’ll need you to send us an unpublished story* that you’ve written. Please send us the link to your Medium story draft for review with a short introduction and description of your story in the body of your email.

Make sure to title the email subject “[Your Name]-Yasss Witch! Story Submission”. (Example: Eadig- Yasss Witch! Story Submission) If you’ve submitted multiple articles to this publication make sure to number them — Story Submission #1, #2, etc.
We’ll get back to you within a few days if we’re interested in publishing your story with notes and directions for moving forward.
*Please note that you must create a Medium membership to submit a story.
To Pitch a Column
Please submit 2–3 unpublished stories* for your column and make sure to include your medium handle for us to review your previous work. Send us the links to your Medium story drafts with a short introduction and description of your column idea in the body of your email. Please also include the preferred title of your column as well as artwork that will be placed above your articles. Weekly and bi-weekly column updates are preferred!
