In the early 20th Century, a mysterious mystic named GI Gurdjieff brought forth a symbol that he called an enneagram. Like much of his teachings, the full meaning of the enneagram was never elucidated upon — at least, not in any way that most of us have been able to grasp in any meaningful sense.
