YDragon Completes Successful Certik Audit

Following our IDO and listing, YDragon have good news from our audit.

Here at YDragon, the safety and security of our investors is of paramount importance, which is why we are pleased to announce our completed smart contract audit by Certik across the YDragon Protocol. The audit is complete and we are happy to announce the results.

The smart contract audit involved extensive and meticulous analysis of the code used to interact with blockchains and cryptocurrencies, in order to discover any issues or vulnerabilities, creating the opportunity for rectifications and improvements. Given the fact smart contracts deal with large volumes of financial assets, an extensive audit is necessary to ensure the safety and security of investors aforementioned assets.

The result from the audit included a small list of recommendations for us to rectify, which of course we were happy to do. I know I keep saying this but it’s true; but our community and investors are our priority. This is the reason for the audit and in turn the reason for following our audit recommendations.

If you look over the report, there are two issues: one minor and one major. The minor issue concerns input validation, which is trivial because we do it elsewhere. The major issue is basically a recommendation to decentralise access to hacked funds, but there’s no way to do that in the code. It’s just something that we should do in practice (i.e. multisig). All in all, rest assured that the code itself is risk-free.
