YDragon Flying in to the Metaverse

The metaverse hype train is only going to grow further in 2022, and YDragon are hopping on for the ride

YDragon is off on another adventure, this time in to not just a new ecosystem, but a number of them. The metaverse is not just one place, it is a vast and rapidly growing number of virtual worlds, each with their own unique characteristics, offerings and benefits.

The sheer velocity at which this part of blockchain is growing right now means it makes total sense for YDragon to get involved, and in turn offer investors numerous opportunities to access risk-reduced, diversified investment into this booming and expanding virtual empire. For those of you that are a little unsure, let’s answer an important question.

What is the Metaverse?

Well, from a terminology perspective, meta is short for metaphysical, meaning beyond the reaches and capabilities of human senses, and verse, well, universe of course. So, in short, virtual universe.

The metaverse in its current state is actually multiple virtual universes, or metaverses, and there seem to be new additions almost on a daily basis at the moment. This is due to the fact there are of course a number of different blockchains, and a number of different ecosystems within each of those chains.

YDragon Metaverse Plans

At our core of course, are indexes; simple, instant diversification, investment opportunities. Given our initial index launch has been on Binance Smart Chain, it makes complete sense for this to be our entry point into the metaverse as well. So I’m sure you can figure from that, in the very near future you can expect to see a YDragon BSC metaverse index. However, this is just the beginning.

As you will have seen from the short term roadmap included in our recent update article, we have plans to expand onto other chains in the very near future. The chains mentioned were Avax, Fantom and Polygon, but of course this is just in the next few months. While our initial entry into these ecosystems will likely be indexes of promising projects, we will be actively exploring metaverse index opportunities here too, and many more in the future.
