Let’s take a walk through the imminent YDragon staking platform

The day is finally upon us! The YDragon native StakePad is live, so I hope you’ve all got your YDR bags ready for what’s on offer. In the meantime, let’s take a walk through the staking platform, with a little step-by-step guide as to how to use it.

Firstly, head over to the official YDragon site to start staking.

Connect Wallet

This is pretty standard; head to the top right and choose either Binance Smart Chain or Ethereum from the select network dropdown, then click Connect Wallet. You’ll be presented with the usual wallet options window; at the moment you can connect MetaMask. TrustWallet is being worked on and will be available shortly after launch, with others to follow. You may be presented with a Signature Request box, to confirm the wallet connection. Click Sign at the bottom and you’re good to go.

Small bug currently — after connecting your wallet you will need to refresh the page before continuing with the guide.

Now that our wallet is connected, we can head over to the Stakepad (located under Products) to begin our YDragon staking experience!

As you can see in the above image, we have our wallet connected, with the YDR in the wallet shown on the top left — in this case 4960 YDR. Once you are sure the wallet connection is correct, click Approve. You will notice that there is only one staking option in the image — stake YDR earn YDR — but there will be more added. To choose your staking option select the red Get YDR button. If there is a, let’s say, WBNB/YDR LP option, the button will say Get WBNB/YDR LP. So, choose the staking option you wish to enter by selecting the appropriate red button.

Ok, so we have our wallet connected, we’ve chosen our staking option and we’re good to go. Time to earn some rewards!

We have 4960 YDR in our wallet, but how much do we want to stake? All of it, of course! Well maybe we do, maybe we don’t, so either input the amount you want to stake into the left hand box — in this case 50 — or click MAX on the right of the box. Then, yes, you guessed it…. click Stake.

As you can see above, our stake has been completed and is active in the staking pool; you can see 50.0000 under Deposited in the centre. On the right, under Rewards, you can see we are already earning our YDR; our YDragon passive income journey has begun! As and when you wish to collect your rewards, just click Harvest. If you wish to redeem your stake and rewards, simply enter how much of your stake you wish to redeem in the centre box and click Unstake and Harvest.

Minimum Staking Period — Zero

That’s right, there are currently no fees for staking, no fees for unstaking, and no minimum lockup period, but that won’t always be the case.
