I was born in Japan and yes I have a Japanese citizenship. I get that questions a lot! I also a citizenship in Netherlands, Russia, and China. Anyway growing up was difficult but super awesome!!

But I am here to tell you how much fun you guy and gals could have by visiting Japan. But let me warn you, time is very different Japan. Japan is 25 hrs ahead than the U.S. So if it is 10 am on Friday there then here would be 9 pm Thursday! The biggest help would be learn the language at least some because most of the banks speak Japanese so transferring your money into yen might be hard without any Japanese. Another example when you buy a coke they would ask for 120 yen. Now if you don’t know the currency that might be another big problem and no it is not 1.20 or 120. for the coke it would be 1.14 in US! I will give you another example its about 100,000 yen a month! Now look at that number doesn’t it looks insane! In reality that is only 890.00 US!!

Anyway back the fun things to do in Japan…..

Joypolis is amusement arcade for there is a beauty contest and stage modeling, the unsearchable where you have a set time to find treasure, and a whole bunch more fun things. Miraikan Science Museum which is really cool and you would learn a lot! The dome theater is really cool. Toyota Megaweb which is HUGE car showroom and museum. I love the restore pit where you can watch them restore a car. I learn how restore my car from one of the guys. Another science place would be Sony Science Centre.

Tokyo Disneyland

For all you Disney people there is Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea! I go every year and really great and a blast! You got some restaurants that have the “ Conveyor belt sushi” which really fun!

But you have to go to Fuji Q Highland them park!!!! Why? Click these videos and you would one the first plane to japan……!

The theme park is near the base of Mount Fuji.

The BEST ride ever the Dodonpa

https://youtu.be/k9DBcIKLVkc Pretty cool. I would recommend

or https://youtu.be/FTnSVrUa04A Awesome

Or How about Edo Wonderland which is amusement park that steps back in time to 17th century Japan and explore the beauty, culture and interesting characters of the Edo Era. The village is divided into five areas. Kaido (Road to Edo), Shukuba-machi (Inn Town), Shokagai (Market District), Buke-yashiki (Samurai Residence), and Ninja no Sato (Ninja Village). The best is Buke-yashiki and shokagai to me personally. But all of them are awesome and you can learn a lot here. And don’t forget to take your picture with Nyan-mage which the character here. Just like how mickey is with Disney.

Or if you are here for a romantic visit or love parks check out the Nikko national park. Its quiet and beautiful. It has 100 waterfalls. Its very big park with a magnificent view!

The best-known waterfalls in Japan would be the Nachi Falls. Piece of history for you.

There are two rocks at the top of the falls that are the guardian kami

of the falls and the Shinto shrine. There was also a Buddhist temple here that was destroyed during the Meiji Restoration (late 19th century). Many shugenja (wizards) and star-crossed lovers have leaped from the top of the waterfall in the belief that they will be reborn into Kannon’s paradise. Early each morning the Shinto priest make offerings to the waterfall in a ritual. In 1918, a Sutra mound was excavated at the base of the waterfall and found to contain many important archaeological artifacts, including statues, mirrors, altar fittings and Sutra cylinders. These are now displayed in the Ryuhoden (“Treasure Hall”), located next to the Sanjūdō Pagoda. These Sutra mounds were created by priests in times of war to hide their treasures but also many items were buried in this way as a result of the belief that the end of the world was coming at the start of the 10th century.

There are so much more to learn and to have fun! The food is great and people are great! Japan is magnificent!!!!! Lots of history and tons of fun. So I would make it a life goal to at least visit Japan. Thank you and maybe one day I would see you in Japan.
