Welcome to 2021! Sorry for the lack of newsletters over the past few weeks. I’ve been peacefully enjoying the holidays and market action. For the sake of convenience, I’m skipping some of the stuff that happened in my absence.
🍣 SushiSwap Summary
SushiSwap is an automated market making (AMM) decentralized exchange (DEX). Link.
- New SushiSwap analytics powered by IntoTheBlock. You can find a breakdown of transactions, fees per liquidity, an IL calculator, and more.
- How BentoBox leverages Subgraphs from Graph Protocol. An article that covers the creation and intention of a Subgraph based on the Subgraph created for BentoBox Lending.
- Introducing the Gnosis Safe SushiSwap Grant. Gnosis Safe and SushiSwap are joining up resources to offer a grant to any individual or team that develops specific Safe Apps for the community.
- SUSHI rewards are live for the (new) $COVER — $ETH pair. Provide liquidity, stake in MasterChef, and earn SUSHI.
- Are we observing the first of many UNI- SUSHI flippening? A thread that looks deeper at metrics hinting towards a flippening of SUSHI vs UNI.
🔒 Keep3r Summary
Keep3r Network provides a way for protocols to post ‘jobs’ — or smart contract call requests — to ‘keepers’ — or those willing to perform those tasks. Link.
- A wild new Keep3r has appeared. jmonteer released a contract to create an NFT token out of a Hegic option. This blog post discusses how the system works and how to call the new keep3r correctly.

C.R.E.A.M. Finance is a peer to peer lending and exchange platform on Ethereum and Binance Chain. Link.

🥒 Pickle Finance Summary
Pickle Finance makes it easy for you to earn compounding yields on your deposits. Link.
- Pickle Finance is looking for a COO/Product Lead to work full time on Pickle. A $105k/year budget has been approved for the hiring of a COO/Product Lead. Interested parties have a couple more days to submit their candidacy here.
- Smart Treasury goes live. The Smart Treasury will be seeded with 5,860 PICKLEs and a proportionate amount of ETH, currently worth ~$100k.
- Into the Brine Vol. 5 — Smart Treasury and Basis PickleJar.
🛡️ Cover Protocol Summary
A peer-to-peer coverage market. Link.
- New COVER Token Launch. The new COVER token can now be claimed. Please refer to the compensation plan in the Medium post to see if you are eligible to claim new COVER tokens.
- The Future Plans. In this blog post, the COVER team highlights their plans for the future.
- COVER Team Fund. 6 members of the COVER team are forming a fund that will be used for purposes (like donations) that the team deems suitable.
🏛️ Akropolis Summary
Decentralized and autonomous community economies — lending and pensions made simple. Link.
- Wednesday, Jan. 6, marked a new Akropolis rewards epoch. Users can find the LM Google sheet with all the relevant numbers here.
- To create separation between AKRO and ADEL, rewards will be adjusted on a pool-specific basis. ADEL rewards are staying the same and AKRO rewards are increasing (see LM gsheet). ADEL rewards will now only be distributed to the Delphi V1 Curve pools, ADEL/ETH Uniswap LPs & ADEL stakers. AKRO rewards will now only be distributed to AKRO/USDC and AKRO/wETH Uniswap LPs & AKRO stakers.
- All proposals around the voluntary swap and new Akropolis products will be governed via AKRO only. The first line of business for AKRO governance will be to decide what to do with swapped ADEL after the swap (i.e. token burn or hold).
