Welcome to the first YellowHeart Newsletter! We’ve been working full speed ahead when it comes to all things ticketing, music, and events. It’s the perfect time to begin sharing regular updates with our community, including all of the exciting activations we’re working on and our roadmap for the future. So, let’s get into it!

On The Pulse

The Surf Lodge (7/1/2022–9/2/2022): This summer YellowHeart is powering The Surf Lodge’s widely followed Summer Concert Series, including performances by Grammy award-winning Bob Moses and Grammy-nominated Elderbrook. The Surf Lodge has created an exclusive NFT that its community can access through exciting giveaways and various touch points at the venue by simply scanning a QR code. Community token perks include everything from cutting the line, to early access to live music and other events, to airdropped messages about future activations, to content from live music performances, to VIP access and exclusive merchandise.
Only YellowHeart Summer Concert Series attendees will have the opportunity to join the community by claiming the free NFT. If you attend any of these events, make sure to tag both @YellowHeartNFT and @TheSurfLodge to show off! (Full music lineup is HERE)

Connecting Roads (6/23/2022–6/26/2022): Were you at Electric Forest? YellowHeart was! In partnership with Connecting Roads, we powered an NFT Scavenger Hunt, exclusive to the Good Life Campground (VIP). Participants who completed the quest were gifted both a digital NFT and a piece of plywood from a larger mural of the NFT, which artist, Alexxis, painted live at the festival.

YellowHeart Gives Back

Abra Golf Invitational (7/18/2022): YellowHeart partnered with Abra for its invite-only Golf Invitational, where a portion of the proceeds from the event was donated to the NFL Alumni Association. With 100+ pro-athletes and VIP golfers in attendance, we’re proud to be able to be part of giving back to those who we’ve followed on the field throughout the years.

More Than A Profile Picture (Old Drops, New Utility)

Jay Blakesberg/Jerry Garcia (8/1/2022): Last summer, YellowHeart teamed up with the Jerry Garcia Family to release a three-part NFT collection centered around a mesmerizing digital artwork series, “An Odd Little Place: The Digital Works of Jerry Garcia (1992–1995),” featuring 20 pieces from the music legend himself. Now, one year later to commemorate Garcia’s 80th birthday, YellowHeart has partnered with legendary rock photographer Jay Blakesberg to release two new iconic photos of Garcia.
The new photos will be available exclusively for Garcia NFT holders and delivered via airdrop.
G.Love (7/19/2022): Earlier this year, over 4,500 of G.Love’s fans got his free community token in the lead-up to his NFT album drop, making it YellowHeart’s most successful community token to date. After releasing his album, “Philadelphia Mississippi,” on the DSPs, it quickly rose to #1 on the Blues Charts for the first time in his career. This month, to reward token holders, G.Love released three new jam/recording session videos for his fans to enjoy. Keep an eye out for even more utility to be added!

Product Updates

My Assets: Our My Assets page is the one-stop shop for interacting with the utility of your favorite NFTs. Community members are now able to seamlessly connect their wallet of choice and physically redeem their NFTs, stream any associated media, and perform other common blockchain actions.
New Purchase Flow: Our new purchase flow provides a step-by-step purchase experience for buying assets on YellowHeart. If you’re not crypto-native, this update makes it even easier to create a YellowHeart account and purchase tickets, content, and other assets with a credit card. Similarly, folks in our crypto community can still make all purchases with a number of common cryptocurrencies.
Web-Based Redemption Updates: Now, users can complete the full purchase journey and redeem NFT tickets online using the most widely adopted crypto wallets on the market. All of the tickets we issue are still easily accessible on YellowHeart’s platform, but if you prefer to use a different wallet, we’ve got you covered.

Upcoming Drops

Boris Pelekh (8/2/2022): Golgo Bordello guitarist, Boris Pelekh, will drop a solo “Pokoy” NFT, which includes the Pokoy song/video, airdropped handwritten signed lyrics of Pokoy, a chance to win a signed, private virtual show for token holders, a virtual meet-and-greet at the private virtual show, and early access to future NFT drops. The project will be an open-edition drop that lasts 90 days.
Turkuaz (8/15/2022): Funk band, Turkuaz, has partnered with YellowHeart to release a free community token that offers fans exclusive benefits and perks in the lead-up to their NFT album launch later this year. Token holders will receive early access to the band’s NFT album one week before it’s released to the public. They’ll also be gifted an exclusive animated instrumental video. Look out for more details regarding their NFT album drop!
