At Yellowme, we strongly believe that investing in future generations is the path towards a great company. Young talent allows us to test us as mentors, to reinforce our knowledge, and to stay up to date with new technologies. In our experience mentorship has been the #1 thing that has sped up growth in engineers & designers at Yellowme.

Interns

For us, an intern is someone who:

  • Is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (above 4th semester)
  • Wants to experience working with a team
  • Wants to explore different career paths
  • Will get paid

Interns are assigned to a project with one of our teams, they usually get informal mentoring through code reviews, design reviews, following the design process, pair programming & 1:1 sessions. Our team will mostly evaluate how they fit in our culture, and how much passion and dedication they have towards their profession.

Apprentices

For us, an apprentice is someone who:

  • Has little to none previous working experience
  • Has certainty about the career path they want
  • Will get paid
  • Will get pair programming sessions with a mentor, at least once a month

Each apprentice will be assigned a mentor, this mentor will follow up the apprentice’s work for the following 6 months.

Eligibility and application

  • Strong academic performance.
  • An updated resume
