Following his Top 5 Ways To Improve WWE, Daniel Leon gives you the Top 5 Things To Love About WWE!
In today’s era of wrestling and with the technology we as fans all have access to, the opinions of the WWE product, its talent, its booking, etc, are literally endless. Everyone is a critic to some degree. If you had no opinion whatsoever about the product then you must not care very much about it.
Of course the most passionate and involved fans, the people who grew up with wrestling and continue to make it a part of their lives to this day, will always be among the most opinionated and critical, whether it be good or bad. Almost every fan at one point or another has complained about a decision in WWE, who hasn’t?
What’s interesting is when people ask, if you love wrestling so much why do you complain about it? It’s a very good point, and the answer is simple. Because we care. We see the potential and the things that could be if the decision makers would listen to the audience. This doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty in the WWE that we don’t all enjoy, its just sometimes easier to be vocal about what you dislike, than to talk about how great something is. So now, lets take a look at some of the great things to love about World Wrestling Entertainment…

5. New Faces, New Opportunities
It wasn’t that long ago that WWE was set on creating their own stars from NXT rather than bringing in anyone from any other promotion. This created a real missed opportunity to give much needed depth to the roster with season veterans with fan following from all other companies like TNA, NJPW, and ROH.
That has since changed, and in the past few years some of the biggest and most over talent in the WWE game have come from other promotions. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan developed astounding momentum once they were positioned correctly in the spotlight. We have also seen talents the likes of AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Balor and Kevin Owens make their debut. WWE have done an amazing job of signing truly phenomenal talent and bringing their face to a larger audience. For fans that haven’t followed any of these men outside of the WWE, now is their chance to see these guys on the familiar stages of RAW and SD Live!
With the influx of all this great talent, we are now afforded the chance to see match ups we would have never guessed we would see just a few years ago. Case in point, at the most recent Great Balls of Fire pay per view, Brock Lesnar defended his Universal Championship against….Samoa Joe??? This is only the beginning, only time will tell which of these potential dream matches will unfold for us in the future.

4. Introduction Of New Tournaments
In recent history we have seen the introduction of the Dusty Rhodes tag team tournament, along with the Cruiserweight Classic and now the Mae Young Invitational. Special events like this always spark interest in the fans, and these talents really go out there and leave it all in the ring and tear the house down.
Its a great way to get people talking and introduce some new faces to your audience. At the end of the day it is great to see the guys in Stamford thinking outside the box and bringing us something new.

3. NXT
Arguably one of the greatest additions to World Wrestling Entertainment, was the introduction of their NXT brand. A place where the future of the main roster comes to develop their character and refine their in ring and mic skills. Out of this new brand has come some of the familiar faces we recognize on RAW and SD Live today.
Faces like Seth Rollins, Enzo and Cass, The Wyatt Family, The Revival, Samoa Joe, and Shinsuke Nakamura, just a few of the people who have come through NXT. Whether is a talent being built from the ground up, or a seasoned veteran being introduced to the WWE audience, NXT will continue to breed the next generation of WWE talent on the main roster.
Let’s not forget that NXT is also responsible for the Takeover events, shows that often times are on the same level, and sometimes even surpass, the events of their main roster counterparts. This is avery refreshing change of pace from the often times disappointing pay per views the WWE cranks out on a monthly basis.
The motive is different for the NXT roster. NXT talent are there to put on the best shows they can to get noticed and move up the ranks. Always makes for a better show than talent that goes out to go through the motions, collect their paycheck, and go home.

2. Great Match Ideas
WWE have brought the fans great match ideas over the years. Some have gained so much popularity, that entire events have been created specifically for those matches. The Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Money In The Bank, and Hell in a Cell to name a few.
These are four match ideas that were so successful that they have a day of the year set aside specifically for them. Now granted, they are not always executed in the manner we would like. I believe this is in part that now matches like Hell in a Cell must occur yearly, even when it may not fit in with a particular feud.
As a result, the quality of the matches may sometimes suffer due to having to have them. However these still remain some of the most anticipated matches of the entire year. The Royal Rumble determines the face of the main event at WrestleMania. Money in the Bank reveals a future WWE Champion. The Elimination Chamber has an unpredictability factor that is seldom paralleled, and with a world title on the line, is can’t miss.
While we do get the occasional Kennel In a Cell or Punjabi Prison match, but at the end of the day, trial and error in the WWE have produced some truly great matches.

1. Memorable Moments
It is easy to sometimes take for granted the great moments that WWE have provided us over the years. Moments that will live forever in our hearts for the rest of our lives. The peak of careers, the years of hard work and dedication playing out on screen for the world to be a part of.
Sometimes these events occur seemingly out of no where, and other times it takes years of patience. We all have moments like these we remember vividly. The emotions we experienced, the joy or the denial or the anger.
Remember when Daniel Bryan finally won the World Championship at WrestleMania 30? Then when he retired just a few years later? Do you remember when Edge became the first man to cash in his Money in The Bank contract against John Cena? Do you remember when AJ Styles debuted in WWE at the Royal Rumble? Or how about when Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar in 84 seconds?
Moments like these will be remembered for years to come and will always be special to us. Without WWE, these would not have been possible.
