Be Any Character That You Want
VRChat is full of characters that you are already familiar with. You can be any character that you want. You can choose from the basic set of characters to represent yourself or wear the skin of non-player characters standing around in the hub worlds. You can also create your own custom character that you would like to use in the app.
Create Your Own Character
If you want to experiment more and go beyond the commonly available options, you can create your own character. You will need to use the Unity game engine to build your own custom characters. If you want to add particle effects to your creation, you will need to use another tool called Blender.
If you are not happy with the available options on the platform and don’t want to spend the time to create an avatar for you, you can buy 3d models that are ready to use.
Find The Perfect Avatar
You can always change your avatar, so experiment as much as you want with it until you find the perfect one. Don’t forget to record the location of your favorite skin. It is easy to forget where you found it and after you log out, your skin resets.
