Claim Sushi Onsen Rewards Pre-October 13, 2022

On October 13, 2022, YGG transitioned to a new rewarder contract on the Sushi Onsen platform. This change was required as a result of a simple human error, but the implication for a subset of users was that the YGG tokens that they had earned as part of the 2x rewards program on Sushi are no longer available to claim via the platform. Rest assured that YGG has a snapshot of the reward balances and they are still claimable. The claim will now take place on the YGG webapp.

If you had rewards owed to you at block 15738189 (October 13, 2022), the rewards can be claimed by following the instructions below. To ensure all rewards are fully claimed, two transactions will be required.

For the Sushi component of the rewards that were due at block 15738189, these can be claimed in the normal fashion via the Sushi Onsen interface. This is a transaction handled by Sushi.

For the YGG component of the outstanding rewards, you need to navigate to the YGG Onsen Claim page https://yieldguild.io/onsen to begin the transaction.

Once on the YGG Onsen Claim page, you will need to connect the wallet that you used to fund the Sushi liquidity pool transaction. This is the same wallet that you would have been required to use to claim the rewards on the Sushi Platform.

Upon loading the page you will be prompted to connect via your chosen wallet. In this example, we will use MetaMask.

Once connected, the total number of YGG tokens that were due as claimable rewards will be displayed on the screen directly above the “Claim” button.

Once you are ready to claim your rewards, click on “Claim” to receive the tokens directly in your wallet. This transaction will need to be confirmed via your chosen wallet as per your usual confirmation process.

Once complete, the available balance will be reduced to zero and the transaction will be verifiable using http://etherscan.io to check your wallet address. This claim website will remain online for the next 6 months.
