Experience Daily Rewards with GAP Season 7

Yield Guild Games (YGG) is shaking up the format of the Guild Advancement Program (GAP) Season 7 with a game lineup jam-packed with community favorites and an upgraded rewards system.

“GAP has always been like a rewards program for the most dedicated gamers in web3,” said YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon. “Those rewards could be in-game assets, tokens, NFTs, merch, or even access to some of the most exclusive opportunities in web3. In GAP Season 7, we’ve decided to cut the wait time to claim all of these rewards. We want to keep expanding and growing to make sure GAP is one of the most rewarding ways to participate in the ongoing growth of the web3 ecosystem.”

As of its launch on 30 September 2024, GAP participants can now claim their rewards after completing each quest instead of having to wait for the season’s end.

GAP’s Most Diverse Game Lineup Yet

This season, Axie Infinity returns to GAP, giving veterans of Lunacia a fresh opportunity to leverage their skills. GensoKishi Online and Mighty Action Heroes are also rejoining, alongside other games from GAP Season 6 Pixels, Rumble Racing Star, Nine Chronicles, and Parallel.

Community favorite Sipher Odyssey is making its first appearance in GAP, with web3 MOBA Arena of Faith, action RPG Blade of God X, and the social deduction game Mystery Society also making their debut. Seasoned shooter players, MOBA diehards, cardslingers, racing fans, and casual gamers alike are sure to find a quest perfectly suited to their style.

Here are all the games set for inclusion in GAP Season 7:

Play Together, Quest Together

Last season, GAP questers took full advantage of the expanded lineup of games and bounties, signing up for nearly as many quests as every other previous GAP season combined. With Season 7, there will be even more reasons for gamers to quest together.

Group Quests for Guilds

Group questing in GAP will allow guilds to quest together and get rewarded for collaborative participation in games on a guild or individual basis, offering token rewards and reputation for guilds that successfully complete these quests.

The group quests also follow on from last season’s competitive bounties for the Guild Alliance. Guild leaders will be permitted to enroll in these quests, and it will be up to them to rally their guilds up the leaderboards.

Premium Quests and AI Bounties Return

In GAP Season 6, YGG introduced Premium Quests as part of GAP’s core offerings. These higher-tier quests are making a return this season, offering up an exclusive suite of prizes to questers stacked on top of GAP’s evolved rewards system.

These quests will be accessible via a Premium Season Pass that can be minted for a small amount of YGG tokens. Returning questers can burn their YGG tokens claimed from previous seasons for a chance to earn some of the season’s most exciting rewards.

Additionally, all featured AI Bounty quests from GAP Season 6 are set to make a return. Bounties for Navigate, Sapien, and FrodoBots will give questers another opportunity to hone their AI skills on these platforms.

A Real-Time Rewards Program

Since GAP began in 2022, claiming rewards has always been an end-of-season affair. Season 7 is introducing a major change to the format with the YGG Rewards Center, which gives access to rewards all season long.

This new system will enable questers to watch their points accrue as they grind through the season. This new Rewards Center will be open to all questers for future GAP seasons until the end of 2024.

Rewards Map

Within the YGG Rewards Center, questers have access to their current Rewards Map. The Season 7 Rewards Map features 20 nodes housing unique rewards that can be unlocked with YGG points. As participants complete quests during GAP Season 7, they will be able to use their points to progress through the Rewards Map to claim their rewards.

The Rewards Map needs to be unlocked one node at a time in sequential order, with each node containing different rewards including YGG tokens, partner tokens, NFTs and more. As an example, if a quester earns enough points to unlock all reward nodes this season, they will end up with a mix of YGG tokens, PIXEL and RON tokens, as well as in-game assets for Axie Infinity and Ragnarok: Monster World on Ronin.

The GAP Season 7 Rewards Map has 10 reward nodes for YGG tokens, three for PIXEL tokens, three for RON tokens, two for Axie Infinity NFTs, and two reward nodes for Ragnarok Nyang Kit NFTs.

There is also a daily prize pool that caps each reward once the allotted number of claims has been reached. Redemptions will then pause until the next day when the prize pool is refreshed. As questers work their way through the Rewards Map, they may need to time their rewards claims strategically to get ahead of other quests working their way toward higher-value rewards first.

How to Participate in GAP Season 7

Interested questers can get started on their GAP journey by signing up on the YGG website. After providing their Discord and email in the sign-up form, players will then need to add their Ronin wallet to their account as the achievement badges and season rewards will all be distributed via the Ronin network.

Here’s how GAP questing works:

Visit the GAP Season 7 page on the YGG website, create an account, and connect your Ronin wallet.
Go through the list of featured games and bounties, and enroll in the quests you’re interested in completing.
Fulfill the quest criteria and submit proof of your efforts via the form on the quest page.
Wait for the quest manager to review and approve the submission.
Use your points to unlock rewards and move your way through the map.
