Yield Guild Games Acquires Exclusive In-Game Assets in the DeHorizon Metaverse
Yield Guild Games (YGG) is diving into the epic fantasy world of DeHorizon metaverse, where players can play for fun and to earn. The long-term vision of DeHorizon metaverse is to create a carnival filled with different kinds of experiences through gameplay open for all the Metaverse Humans across multiple chains, empowering everyone to enjoy this virtual world. Built on Ethereum — EVM compatible chains, DeHorizon games will let players explore the open world of epic battles, minting NFT monsters, mining resources, embarking on heroic quests, taming wild creatures, and much more.
YGG has made a purchase of assets worth US$91,000 in DeHorizon games that include exclusive weapons, equipment, a Dragon racing team, a DeMeta Pass ID, and 40 monsters called JuJus, which will also be specially customized to represent YGG. The exclusive weapons and equipment acquired by YGG have better stats compared to normal game items, giving YGG scholars a competitive edge.
In addition to this, YGG has engaged in a token swap worth US$60,000 of YGG/DEVT tokens.

DeHorizon games lay a solid foundation for creating a virtual carnival in the DeHorizon metaverse, which provides a gaming experience that allows players to not only earn, but also enter a captivating world with multiple entertaining game modes and activities.
DeHorizon games include: group-versus-group adventure game DeVerse, weekly-based battle royale DeTournament, dragon-riding fantasy sports game DeQuidditch and much more.
The DeVerse and DeTournament Alpha Live, or the games’ official launch, are set to take place in the beginning of Q1 2022. Meanwhile, the DeQuidditch Alpha Live is scheduled for Q3 2022. The roadmap also includes a virtual “carnival,” which is set to launch in Q4 2022.

DEVT is a DAO token, used to advance the sustainable development of the DeHorion metaverse.
DGT works as the native token in DeVerse, giving the opportunity to acquire digital assets such as characters, lands, and equipment. As more game scenes will be published, players need more DGT to unlock gameplay and upgrade equipment. In order to participate in the game, players must purchase DGT from the liquidity pool in the early stage to generate their own characters, so as to support the soft launch of the game and ensure the value of DGT. DGT can likewise be used in DeQuidditch to buy tickets and place bets on racing teams.
DeMeta can be viewed as each player’s metaverse passport lightly accessible to multiple metaverse, which is the first interoperable, editable and evolvable ERC-721 NFT launched by DeHorizon. The invention of DeMeta disrupted the current JPG NFTs, infusing DeHorizon Metaverse with multiverse value. Within DeMeta Pass ID, it opens up the possibility for YGG to make various NFT assets more circulated and connected.
All game logic, transactions, and ownership will be recorded on-chain to ensure complete transparency. Although these NFTs will initially be designed and established by DeHorizon’s core team, in the future, the development of the game will be gradually handed over to a community-driven DAO to vote and protect the interests of all players.
