There has been a resurgence of interest in Connected TV applications, with the popularity of platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and of course, Apple TV. Conviva reports that, in the fourth quarter of 2020, Connected TV devices accounted for 49% of the time that people spent streaming video globally.

Over the last year at YinzCam, we have started to add Connected TV applications to our product lines, with a focus on delivering both live streams as well as featured content and shows. We also provide a Content Management System for our clubs to be able to manage and organize the content that is shown on these CTV platforms.

Our Connected TV products are currently supported on Apple TV, Roku, and Fire TV. The features include

  • A customizable home screen
  • Different channels
  • Featured content
  • Live video streams
  • Shows
  • Ability to group videos by specific tags
  • Analytics
  • Preroll support

The New York Giants were one of the first clubs to work with us on launching a unique video experience on Connected TV platforms such as Apple TV, Roku, and Fire TV, and we were proud to collaborate with David Dominik on this new product. Giants TV has original video content and highlights on-demand direct to Big Blue fans, and includes game-film breakdown, interviews, press conferences, behind-the-scenes footage from the NFL Combine, and more.

With Giants fans consuming our content in a variety of formats, we built GiantsTV to amplify our video offerings and to address the growing streaming landscape. Our partnership with YinzCam allowed us to develop an app that places the focus on a best-in-class user experience.
