From wanting to gain valuable insight in the field of commerce to learning how to personally manage money, I believe that the Young Investor Program is an essential program for all youth. Here are some tips and tricks to make your experience worthwhile.

As business professionals come every week to lead workshops, here’s your chance to optimize your learning experience from the Young Investor Program.

  1. Research to enhance understanding

Firstly, as you’ll know the topics being taught beforehand, do some research! You’ll be surprise how much a simple five to ten minute surf on the Internet will make workshops much easier to understand. Simply learning a few terms and key ideas will assure success in your mini cases, as well as build your confidence and knowledge regarding the topic.

2. Ask questions

Secondly, since business professionals come every week, feel free to ask questions! The questions do not necessarily have to relate to the topic being taught, and with that, you can learn a lot from simply asking questions.

3. Meet new people and step out of your comfort shell

Over a hundred like-minded individuals will be joining you in this fantastic program for a period of three months, here is your chance to utilize your networking skills! Every week, you can foster new friendships, as well as, build connections that may last a lifetime. Believe it or not, delegates joining you can potentially be joining you in university! Last year when I participated in the program, I met several new friends, and became particularly close with my team members. Even after a year since the Young Investor Program, my team members, now my close friends still see each other on a weekly basis. Without the Young Investor Program, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet one another. Besides building new friendships, you can build connections with several industry business professionals, as well as ambassadors, and executives. With the Young Investor Program, opportunities are everywhere, so partake and make the best out of it!

I wish everyone good luck with their applications for the Young Investor Program. Take your time, and deeply reflect on the questions. Stay true to yourself, and don’t wait until the last minute to complete.

Lastly, the Young Investor Program is what you make out of it! What you put into the program is what you’ll get out. With my tips and tricks, I assure you that your Young Investor Program experience will be worthwhile. If you have any other questions or need advice regarding the Young Investor Program, feel free to contact me, or find me at the workshops! I’m happy to help.
