Things done:

  • purchased a pocket notebook, and a set of index cards to replace an online task management system.
  • purchased and began reading two paper books.
  • started this blog to track the story through the year
  • spent Sunday afternoon without any internet (including phone) reading books and disconnecting.
  • re-joined a gym, to create a habit that pulls me away from the internet.

Things in progress:

  • writing the ‘why to’ piece into this new experiment

Feelings / Thoughts:

  • feel excited for this experiment and to share my findings here.
  • already feel that switching to analogue tools such as a paper notebook and physical books promotes focus and intentionality.
