7th day of #Navratri — #Shakti is #Kalaratri … Kala=time, black in reference to the primal darkness before the Creation … Ratri=night, is that time of day that comforts us, it is a time of repose and rest, it brings relief to every living being including humans :-) … she is beyond time, she is the darkness of night. Kalaratri Devi is the great #Dark #Night #Mother — Scourer of Darkness … She is the unfolding of #time — Mother #Kaalaratri is the deep, dark energy that houses the infinite universe … Mother #Divine is beyond the #universe but brings solace to every soul :-) … my mother’s beautiful depiction is of the dark night complexion black, thorny necklace shines like the lights from thunders, 3 eyes — the #Trinetri, emanate rays like lightning … fierce flames hiss out from her nostrils when she inhales and exhales, 4 arms called — Chaturbhuji — left side are hold the cleaver and torch — right hands depict the “giving and protecting” mudras. She assures her children — the yogis #freedom from fear … her lower hand holds a sparkling sword to protect them from all evil … she is my #beautiful — most #generous mother …

… her children — her fearless yogis observes all #Yamas, #Niyamas and #Samyamas. They do penance on Shahasrara Chakra on this day … #Shahasrara #Chakra is located on the crown of the head beneath the #fontanelle, which is easily visible in a new-born child :-) … it is the thousand-petalled #Lotus, #Brahmrandhra (door to #Brahma) and Source of #Light (because a supernatural light as bright as the sun radiates from it) … No other light approaches the brilliance of the #sun. In the same way the radiance of all other #Chakras fades before the incomparable radiance of the Sahasrara Chakra. Its light contains all color vibrations united in the incomparable brilliance of pure light. The energy of all #Nadis flows together here, just as the #water of a thousand #rivers comes together in the #sea :-) … it is the source of creation, the pure #light and one reality … “without beginning” and “without end” — therefore #infinite …

… On this 7th day the door of all #Siddhis of the #universe start opening … this day #sadhaka with all his faculties is identified her mother Kalaratri. As a result of her direct vision her yogi attains all inexhaustible #virtues, all sins and obstacles in his way are completely destroyed … for yogis, her beloved children every siddhi in universe is open on this day … mother Kalaratri is Sahastrara Shakti — The ruler of Sahastrara (#crown) Chakra … the thousand petalled chakra that connects a #sadhak directly to the spiritual realms for which he is earnestly and untiringly does his #sadhana. This is a very special day for all Tattva Shakti Sadhak and #Sadhikas …

… After the upward journey of #Kundalini, coursing through the Sushumna channel and the 6 chakras along the way, today it is finally brought to the crown chakra, #Sahasrara. This #union is the Realization of the #Absolute, and is the “true” meaning of #Yoga.
