Sarah Highfield, International Yoga Teacher & Founder of Yogagise Yoga

I am so excited to be teaching on the upcoming yoganect South Africa yoga retreat in March 2019. I will be teaching attendees yoga to make them feel good, whether it’s an early morning uplifting and energising class, or a late afternoon deep stretch and restorative class. My goal is to ensure that the yoga is suitable for everyone and that they enjoy it (as much as I enjoy teaching it!).

My yoga brand is called Yogagise and it’s all about energising the body, opening up and ultimately relaxing the mind and body. It is for people who want to retreat from the stresses of everyday life and take a moment for themselves, where they can switch off from the world, turn off their phone and relax.

Each class is fun and challenging, delivered in a mix of English and Sanskrit, with easy to understand demonstrations and optional hands on adjustments. Even for yoga newcomers, I’ll demonstrate all the poses so that they are easy to do and fully accessible.

Teaching in London, UK

Morning classes will be designed to help wake up the body and lift energy in preparation for the day ahead. Attendees can expect a gentle, yet dynamic & energising flow where the poses flow from one to the other. Late afternoon and early evening classes will be slower with an emphasis on restoring and rebalancing the body. Yoga poses will be held for a few breaths longer (than the morning ones), which will encourage the body to open up and submit to the pose.

I will also be teaching some meditations during the retreat, which will all be simple to follow and very unwinding.

Attendees will leave feeling refreshed and renewed!
