What problem is FLIX solving?
We started our journey of creating a platform with a mission to change the process and experience of producing business videos. Even the simplest of the marketing video seemed too scary to create and that is because of following reasons.
- Who will shoot the video?
- What should be used to shoot the video?
- Which music can be added to the video? Will it cause a license issue?
- How can one make some smart edits like trimming, stitching, audio balancing, titling, watermarking etc.?
- And most importantly, how to carve a story for the video?
We tried solving these and many more such problems for people who wanted to created a lot of marketing video content but did not know how to go about it. With the advancement in the camera capabilities of a mobile phone, it was an obvious choice for a device to shoot the video. And, technology was built over it, keeping in mind the end goal i.e. help user to produce good quality videos, easily.
Another major component of FLIX is the storyboards. Businesses wants to create a lot of videos but often they don’t know how to tell a story and video is all about telling a compelling story. With the help of filmmakers and script writers we carefully crafted 25+ storyboards across 8 business categories, which are suited to various business use cases.

FLIX is for everyone who wants to showcase their business, property, hospitality, services, product or even the company culture. Video production used to be a very technical process and only professionals were able to do it. With FLIX, it is possible for people with no or very little knowledge of video making to create very good quality business video .

The app is available on App store and is free to download. The app is based on a freemium (free + premium) model where most of the features are free to use.
Only when you want to remove FLIX branding from the finished video and have access to premium features like team collaboration, then you pay. Pricing plans starts as low as $29.99 per month for 10 branded videos.
The road ahead
Our focus is to provide a seamless video creation experience to our app users. We will keep on adding more useful features like voice over, image import etc. Also, we will keep on introducing newer storyboards and categories.
