2021
It was a breakthrough year for the cryptocurrency market and YOLOrekt in numerous ways. We saw Bitcoin and Ethereum hit new record highs, the crypto market cap gained a few trillion and adoption skyrocketed alongside Omicron cases. Mainly for us, 2021 was the year YOLOrekt returned!
2021 allowed us to take YOLOrekt to the next level. An early dApp, which launched originally back in 2019, takes a hyper-gamified approach to the short-term prediction markets which rose to the top of dApp Radar. As DeFi Summers came and went, the idea of ‘in-game liquidity’ became a reality, and thus YOLOrekt 2.0 was born. Let’s review…

The YOLOrekt team launches private closed Beta. The Beta program waitlist has quickly grown to over 18,000 users.
Looking Back at Beta
In October 2021 we launched our Beta program by airdropping NFT’s to 251 early token issuance participants and early YOLO OGs from 2019. The NFT allowed login access to our Beta program along with 5,000 BYOLO tokens to help us begin testing and feedback. As bugs were squashed, and upgrades to our games design and UX were made, we opened Beta to a total of 1,800 participants.
As we head into the new year, we will be opening Beta up to 10,000 new users! There is 500,000 (~20k) YOLO available to earn in Beta. If you signed up to join our Beta head over to the YOLOrekt website and click “Claim your NFT.” If you are eligible, click the “Claim” button in the upper right-hand corner.
Looking Forward
We are excited for the new year as we are in the final stages of wrapping up our Beta in Q1.
Assets
- Traders and fanatics of meme coins and meme stocks are in for a treat as we enable price prediction through bidding on assets such as TESLA, GameStop, Doge, Shib, Matic, etc.
- We are planning to add plenty of other price prediction markets in Forex, Commodities, and Indices.
Smart Liquidity Pools
- Liquidity providers get ready to make consistent APYs generated directly from fees from each round (per asset).
- YOLO liquidity is backed by an automated prediction algorithm and further technical details will be available in the upcoming weeks.
- Liquidity providers will make at least 3% fees in each round (per asset) besides the potential profits (or potential loss) through automated in-game bidding executed by bots.
Tokens
- YOLO tokens will be available on all the standard LP pools such as Sushiswap and Quickswap at the time of the production launch.
Rewards
- There will be plenty of YOLO rewards available to earn for both Liquidity Providers and Users through various incentive mechanisms.
- Reward schedules and distribution formats will be available just before production launch.
