Our customers love Yoshi because it saves them both time and money. And when it comes to customer care, it’s of the utmost importance that we provide world-class service using the best products on the market. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions about our fuel quality and how we source our gas:

What type of gas does Yoshi provide? We are proud to pump Top Tier™ gas in regular and premium! Every day, our Yoshi algorithm runs a matching search to ensure our customers get the lowest price per gallon based on gas stations within a two-mile radius that provide this quality product.

So what does “Top Tier” mean? While all gasoline sold in the U.S. must meet minimum requirements set by the government, some fuel companies have taken it a step further, setting a higher standard. Brands that qualify as “Top Tier” contain additional detergents beyond the minimum requirements and help extend the life of a vehicle’s engine. Hence the name! You can read more here.

So what octanes are your fuels? Regular octane is 87 and premium octane is 93 (91 in California and Kansas). At this time we do not offer mid-grade or diesel, but we’re always listening to our customers’ needs and constantly evaluating new offerings for down the road!

And where do you source your gas? We source our fuel from a variety of partners, depending on the market! These fuel supply partners include many of the top brands that our customers are familiar with ExxonMobil, Shell, and Marathon. All of our partners provide Top Tier™ gas!

What hardware protocols do you have to ensure fuel quality? From an operational perspective, our truck metering and fuel quality are both measured and tested on a regular basis by the Department of Agriculture’s Weights & Measures Division. We are fully compliant with all regulations and work with local authorities in specific markets to adapt our design to surpass their standards of operations.
