In November, members of Team Yoshi made a trip to one of our fastest-growing markets: Los Angeles. We launched service in Los Angeles back in 2017, and this year organic growth has taken off.

In some ways, it was really just a matter of time, given the sheer number of drivers in the country’s second-largest city. In fact, it was timely that a study was recently released showing that commuters in the LA area lose nearly $10,000 a year in time spent getting to work. During our customer visits, we had the chance to meet with some of these commuters who are already Yoshi customers.

Our team members stopped by to meet with our customers at Instinctual in Los Angeles.

The team at Instinctual started using Yoshi a couple of years ago. Based in the heart of Hollywood, Instinctual provides the full range of professional finishing services — including visual effects, editorial, and color correction. They’re the people behind the scenes on some of your favorite films.

The staff at Instinctual work long days and sometimes into the wee hours of the morning on major blockbuster productions. Every Hollywood project that comes in is different, but one thing is almost always certain: their cars are parked at the office for several hours while they work.

That’s when our field technicians and service pros stop by to top off their tanks, wash their cars, etc.. This way, they no longer have to hassle with going to the gas station, worry about whether their car is going to be dirty, or brace themselves for the next check engine light.

Our team enjoys every interaction we get with our customers. Each of our 20 markets is unique and so is each customer perspective. When we had lunch at Instinctual, we had a chance to hear from them about how we’re doing and how our service can continue to get better. As we grow, we know that listening to our customers’ pain points and day-to-day challenges can orient us on the path to providing an even better Yoshi experience.
