Yoshino Yoshikawa
東京を拠点に活動するプロデューサー。Ultrapopを提唱し、シンセサイザーやガジェットを駆使した複雑な電子音のレイヤーを駆使した音楽作りを得意としている。2009年より東京のMaltine Records、LAのZoom Lensとのコラボレーションで作品を発表。その独特のポップなセンスは、電子音楽、アニメ、ゲーム音楽など世界中のオーディエンスを魅了している。Japan Times紙では「とてもキラキラとしたキャンディーのようなダンスミュージック」と評され、アイドルグループ「東京女子流」や女性シンガー「南波志帆」などのリミックスを手がけるほか、ゲーム「maimai」や人気アニメ「きんいろモザイク」のサウンドトラックを手がけている。
2010年代の日本のポップスを決定付けたDÉ DÉ MOUSEが設立したエレクトロニック・レーベル、not recordsより2019年に最新アルバム『Ultrapop』がリリースされた。AZUMA HITOMI、LLLL、野兎、ONJUICY、ゆnovationといったローカルタレントをフィーチャーした楽曲を収録し、彼の美学をサウンドで表現したアルバムとなっている。
Yoshino Yoshikawa is a Tokyo-based producer. As a strong advocate of Ultrapop, he masters use of synthesizers and gadgets to make music made of intricate layers of electronic sounds. He released his music since 2009 in collaboration with Tokyo-based Maltine Records and LA-based Zoom Lens. His unique pop sense has attracted a worldwide audience of electronic music, anime & game music. Japan Times reviewed his music “hyper-chirpy dance music with ample drops.” Not only has he contributed remixes for artists such as Japanese idol group TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE and female singer Shiho Namba also he has composed soundtracks for the video game “maimai” and popular anime “Kinmoza!”
His latest album “Ultrapop” was released in 2019 from Not Records, an electronic label founded by leading pop musician Dé Dé Mouse. The album includes tracks featuring local talents such as Azuma Hitomi, LLLL, Noto, Onjuicy and Yunovation and presents his aesthetics in sound.
