Hello again YottaChainMENA community and welcome to another weekly update!
Here in Dubai, we are currently experiencing the hottest and most humid time of year, with temperatures as high as 41 degrees Celsius and humidity reaching 41%.
The easing of lockdown restrictions continues here in Dubai and our entire team has returned to our DIFC office. Of course, with the safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients and community remaining our top priority, we continue to exercise safety measures in excess of those recommended. This includes wearing protective masks, daily body temperature checks and the regular use of hand sanitiser.
Weekly Summary
Despite the current global pandemic continuing to have an adverse affect on many businesses and the broad economy, our blockchain-based business goes from strength to strength. Over the last week, our incredible team has been busy onboarding new MENA Super Nodes (MSNs), expanding our MTA ecosystems and engaging with media agencies. In addition, our system architects have been working tirelessly on the development of new supportive tools, designed to deliver a valuable and cohesive experience for users.
Token Launch
On June 15th 2020, YottaChainMENA launched its utility token, MTA. The Token, based on the YottaChain public blockchain, is issued by our Cayman Island Company Yotta Digital and was launched with a total fixed volume of 2 Billion pieces, with no additional issuance.
As detailed in our Token launch announcement yesterday, MTA is already visible on our public blockchain explorer yottascan.io. Simply search for ‘flexible.mta’ to discover the test Token transactions currently being operated by our technical development team as they undertake thorough final testing of our systems and platforms (see screenshot below).
More supportive tools, as well as a comprehensive Token consumption ecosystem, are still under development. Yottascan tutorials will soon be made available and details of these will be published on our website and social media platforms.
Webinar Update
Continuing on from the success of our first webinar, the second follow-up webinar will be broadcast live at the end of June. In this session, we will be providing details of our earning opportunities and reward systems, particularly with regard to our MENA Super Nodes (MSNs).
