Stressed leading up to the trip?

Stressed that you haven’t reached your goal in time for your vacation? It’s O.K. Get in bikini body shape by simply putting that bikini onto your body. Don’t stress of how you look rather enjoy the time you have on vacation! You’ll remember the memories in 20 years not what bathing suit you had on or who saw you.

Stressed in regards to eating?

Try eating similar to what you would normally eat at home but remember a vacation and a break comes only once in a while — so don’t stress if it’s not perfect.

If you have the opportunity to stop by a grocery store, pick up the things that you would normally eat for breakfast. Sometimes you have the ability to prepare a breakfast that you would normally eat at home! No need to rely on the hotel breakfast that is filled with processed sugary treats — something that you are not used to on a daily basis. Take one day to enjoy a breakfast that you don’t have to prepare but sometimes eating things that you are not used to can make you groggy and tired rather than full of energy!

If you are planning on having a drink for dinner, by all means have it. Eating out and the occasionally drinking is not going to ruin all the progress you’ve made! Be aware and make sure you stay hydrated throughout the trip!

Make the best food choices you can and above all enjoy yourself!

What about eating out?

Don’t sacrifice a meal out with friends! Instead make a smart decision as to what you’re going to order!

Even on vacation you can follow some of these tips:

  • prioritize protein at every meal
  • take a multivitamin to help any vitamin & mineral deficiencies or eat more fruits and veggies
  • drink more water
  • sleep at least 7–8 hours each night
  • add 30 minutes of some movement into each day (even a walk on the beach is exercise!)

Stressed about how you’ll keep up with your workout routine?

Suns out, guns out! You’ve put in the hard work during the year, enjoy your vacation. Work out because you want to not because you have to!

Overall: Loosen up your rules

Just because you are on vacation does not mean you have to keep your healthy habits to a “T”.
