What we learned from a million meals
Why do people eat? Is it hunger? Is out of boredom? Or social pressure? Let’s find out.
We looked at anonymized data from a million meals saved by the YouAte community to see why they ate, where they ate most often, how their meals were prepared, and how it made them feel afterwards?
The results were fascinating.
A little background about YouAte. It’s an easy to use food diary app that focuses on why you are eating and how it makes you feel.

We also analyzed the progress that a random group of users have made over a 4 month period. Read more about our finding here.
