In today’s time, many people are engaged in front of smartphones all day and night. It may be that we couldn’t know and slowly we may become its puppet.

As we can see, in today’s time, most of the work is very difficult without the Internet. Today, everyday tasks have gone online in some way.

If you want to spend less time on mobile phones and computers then you can. However, it is not that easy as we think.

We can see that technology is used by everyone and everywhere. As you may be aware that technology has provided us many facilities but on the other side it also has many drawbacks.

1. Turn off Unnecessary Notifications

This makes me understand that notifications on mobile phones attract us to other things.

For example, if we talk about YouTube notifications or WhatsApp notifications, then we can see that even after running mobile for hours, we keep getting new messages and new video notifications, this way we are in front of the screen continually.

If you feel that this problem is happening to you too, then I would like to give you a small suggestion. If possible, keep unnecessary/unuseful notifications closed. You can do this easily by going to the settings of any app.

Although I do not know if this method will work for you, in my case, it worked a little bit.

I have seen many people keep on mobile for a long time, even for hours, due to notifications of new messages after chatting for a while.

If you will disable some unnecessary notifications, then maybe you start to understand some of the implications.

2. Play Outdoor/ Indoor Games That You Like

We all like some outdoor sports. And since childhood, you have probably played many sports like cricket, football, tennis, etc.

I have often seen that 80% of people who have come to adulthood usually ignore sports activities.

If you like to play outdoor games then you must play for some time during the day. All these things will help you stay away from mobile phones and this activity will also keep you fit.

If you like indoor games too, Chess and Carrom are also a good means of time pass.

3. Use the Smartphone or PC Only at the Time of Need

Mostly this has been happening to me, if I search on the internet for something important, then I start moving towards other things and forget my main job.

In today’s time, the internet has become such that it can distract the mind very easily and we start consuming entertainment and anything we like. Thus, a lot of time could be wasted in front of the screen.

If you have this problem too, then try to control your mind and focus on other activities. First of all, it seems very difficult, but gradually your mind will get settled automatically.
