YDM Updates Social Media Policy

Dear Followers,

Recently our Facebook Page, Facebook Group, and to some extent Instagram pages have been targeted by social media trolls spreading “fake” news. Most of the time after some investigation these are fake accounts newly established online with few friends/followers, however spreading false information. We have a long policy of not deleting comments on our pages, even those with which we disagree unless the comments are hateful or threating.

As of today, we are updating that policy to include removing content from fake accounts and spreading fake news. This does not include policy disagreements, disagreements on intent or results of policy, or even political disagreements. Accounts caught spreading fake news will be banned from our platforms.
