August has honestly crushed it as a reading month. While I did only read four books, I immensely enjoyed all of them, which is what really matters. So for the first time in a while, there are no honorable mentions for this best books of the month roundup — just excellent reads from throughout August!

Enemies to Lovers by Laura Jane Williams

This delightful holiday summer romance was such a pleasure to read! Don’t let the trope-forward title fool you — Enemies to Lovers* isn’t a simple, straightforward enemies to lovers story and does pack in a bit of depth.

My review went up earlier this month if you want to know more.
