Hello, book friends! I’m back with another book review, and we’re starting February with a romance. Many thanks to GP Putnam’s Sons for the digital review copy of Change of Heart by Falon Ballard, which comes out on February 11th. Let’s dig into my thoughts!

Change of Heart Synopsis

In Change of Heart, tough lawyer Cam knows what she wants. And these dates her grandmother keeps setting up for her? They’re not it. But when a mysterious waitress witnesses her rude behavior on a date, she wakes up in a strange new world where her hair and makeup are always perfect and everything is pastel. Stranger still, her date from that night has also been transported here. To get back home and back on track to take over her grandmother’s law firm, Cam needs to play by the rules. But can she?

Oh, how much I wanted to love this book. It begins with a dedication to “unlikable women” and boy am I here for more books in which women are allowed…
