An October readathon for a magical Halloween season
Hello, book friends!
Last year, I officially launched a little October readathon / read-along here on the blog, and I’m excited to announce I’ll once again be hosting the Witchtober Readathon in 2024!

Why am I writing about an October readathon so early, you might ask? Well, I’ve decided to start a week earlier than last year. Last year, we began about a week before October to give us all time to hit that witchy TBR.
This year, the new Marvel show Agatha All Along premieres on September 18th. I’ve been looking forward to this WandaVision spinoff for a while and I’m so excited it’s finally almost here! 18 also happens to be my favorite number, so as soon as I saw the date I knew that I’d start the Witchtober Readathon on this date.
No need to jump in that early if you’re not feeling the spooky magic vibes just yet, but if my Instagram feed is any indication, I’m not alone in being very ready to pretend it’s autumn. So, let’s cover the basics of what this magical month+ of Witchtober…
