Happy Wednesday, book friends! I taught my first two classes of the semester yesterday, which of course meant I came home completely wiped out. After working from home with occasional Zoom meetings, being in front of a class of 15–25 students two times in one day was… a lot. But in a good way.

I haven’t been reading quite as quickly the last few weeks, but I’m still making time for books, which is the important thing. Let’s get into the updates!

Recent Reads

I finished Float Plan on audio late last week. I very much enjoyed the book and the narration was great. Not much else to say about it, really.

It was fun and I thought it dealt with grief well. Certainly a bit heavier than some romance novels as a result, but I like a little depth so I appreciated it. Since I’ve been busier with work and writing lately, I haven’t been reviewing books that aren’t ARCs as often, and I don’t have enough to say about this one to review it, either.
