And just like that, we’ve arrived at the last Wednesday of January. This month has felt incredibly long and packed full of a lot more change and transition than I was expecting — and that’s just my personal life, never mind what’s happening to my country.

The upside to my unexpected travel to Seattle, of course, was the time spent reading on the plane. I got to read a whole book in a few hours, which felt so nice. Then I crammed my brain full of Dungeons & Dragons knowledge to bring back and turn around articles before heading home (if you’re a D&D fan, check out the 2025 roadmap here). Now, I’m trying to settle back into a routine, and that includes reading in the mornings and at night.

Since I was in Seattle with the Wizards of the Coast last Wednesday, it’s been a bit since I gave a reading update. That means I’ve got plenty to share. Let’s get to it!
