Happy witchy Wednesday, book friends! After last week’s Agatha All Along cliffhanger, I’m extra excited for the new episode to drop this evening.

I’ve made some decent reading progress this past week despite being very busy with work things, so let’s dig into the updates.

Recent Reads

I finished last week. It was a cute witchy romance, but for whatever reason, it didn’t really connect with me or pull me in the way I wanted it to, hence why it took me so long to finish. My review is available here.

Next I picked up the twisted tales novella A Spindle Splintered by Alix E. Harrow. I wanted a little romance palette cleanser and a book that I could easily read of a Sunday afternoon. As I expected, this re-imagined Sleeping Beauty story was phenomenal. Made for an excellent quick read that still took on issues like chronic illness and agency.

I also finally finished the audiobook of An Enchanting Case of Spirits. I really enjoyed this one while I was listening to it, but I kept getting distracted by podcasts, which took me out of the story enough that I was never quite sure if I was going to go back to it.
